Reviews from Tajima Ramen Maui Happy Hour – Kihei, Maui, HI

“Last night in Kihei and we went here. NGL this was best meal I had the whole time. I think it was called Chorizo ramen. It was FIRE!! And the ppl inside were all super nice. The whole island was super nice.”

Patrick W., July 2026

“Lightning fast service with the best ramen I’ve ever had in my life. Server was quick and kind and fun to talk to. The pork katsu bun was so good too. The atmosphere was great with fun decor and details. Highly recommend..”

John S., April 2026

“Tajima Ramen Maui is a must-visit! My wife and I started with the gyoza, which were perfectly crisp and flavorful. They were a great way to kick off the meal. For our main dish, we both ordered the Tajima Red Ramen, and it did not disappoint. The broth had just the right amount of spice, rich and well-balanced. I added a noodle refill because I couldn’t get enough. Honestly, this was the best ramen I’ve had outside of Japan. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was also fantastic with great music that added to the experience without being too loud. If you’re in Maui and craving authentic, flavorful ramen, Tajima should be at the top of your list.”

“Excellent ramen. Also ordered the shishito peppers and garlic edamame. The edamame was a little oily but still good. Shishito peppers were great.”

Gary G, July 2025

“The sushi was good and enjoyed the shrimp tempura, veggie gyoza, and cream cheese wontons. The fried rice was alright, had chunks of rice that weren’t mixed well and our shrimp fried rice had about 5 pieces of shrimp. Was a nice area to go for dinner since it wasn’t loud and we didn’t have to wait long. Would like to try the ramen, regret not getting any. Have a good amount of vegetarian options too between the ramen, sushi, and appetizers.”

Zane Zbacnik, July 2025

“Good quality ramen at a reasonable price. Food was served quickly. I orders the spicy sesame ramen. The broth was flavorful without being too spicy. If you get tired of eating poke, try this place.”

Nathan Houk, July 2025

“Love these guys! Japanese comfort food at its finest. Every Ramen I’ve tasted has been great but I’m addicted to the carnitas ramen. Fried rice, wings…etc. Everything is great! $9 hi-ball…nice!”

Jason Kashtan, June 2025

“Tajima Ramen totally hit the spot. The gyoza was crispy and delicious, and both the black ramen and white ramen were amazing—super flavorful and comforting. The place is clean, cold and there’s tons of parking which is always a win. The staff were super friendly and helpful with all our questions. Definitely coming back!”
