Wailea Village serves as a vibrant, open-air hub in South Maui’s luxurious Wailea enclave, blending boutique shopping, lively eateries, and tropical courtyards just steps from pristine beaches like Wailea Beach and Polihua Trail.
This pedestrian-friendly destination captures the area’s effortless sophistication, surrounded by championship golf courses, high-end resorts, and sunset strolls along the Wailea Coastal Walk, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and island exploration.
Koast’s family-style menu shines with Maui-sourced gems like whole fresh fish grilled over kiawe wood, tender pig’s ear terrine, ʻahi crudo, and umami-rich clams with housemade sausage.

“We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience, easily one of the best restaurants we visited in Hawaii. The food was the clear focus, and the quality was unbeatable.
The whole roasted kanpachi was exquisite, standing out as the best fish we’ve enjoyed on this trip. The octopus appetizer was also exquisite.
The great atmosphere coupled with the excellent service from our waiter, Judah, made the evening truly special. It felt less like a typical tourist spot and much more like the kind of high-quality restaurant we would frequent back in NYC.”

“We experienced Koast with a good friend for the first time since it’s opening and we’re delighted with the great food, ambience views, and vibe of the restaurant. We came in just prior to the end of happy hour and were able to grab several apps which were really good such as the fish sliders and strawberry and edamame salad.
An excellent and varied menu with a substantial wine list offering and creative cocktails. Signature desserts include a roasted pineapple, which is substantial and great to share with others. This has more of an upscale but laid-back California vibe than Hawaiian but refreshingly different from many of the offerings in South Maui. Definitely want to become a “repeat offender”🤙”

“We had an amazing meal at Koast — easily the best new restaurant on Maui. The service was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating (we had a 2-year-old with us, and the staff took such great care of her).
We ordered the fish specials — all freshly caught that day by local fishermen. Dave and co shared stories and photos of the catches. The edamame & strawberry salad, corn ribs, and pasta were all delicious. You’ll find familiar classics alongside creative, thoughtful dishes from Chris Cosentino that make the menu perfect for everyone (kiddos to foodies)
We’ve been coming to Maui for 7 years now, and Koast is hands-down the best new spot on the island. Can’t wait to come back.”

“We had dinner at Koast twice this week and also stopped in for a Happy Hour. The setting, service, cocktails and food was exceptional at each visit. We sampled the sushi appetizers and fish, pork and chicken main courses—all were generous portions, unique and thoroughly enjoyed. Service was great, anytime a staff member passed our table they asked if we needed anything and an empty plate never sat long and a drink was never empty. Desserts a large enough for two, very nice cocktail choices and extensive wine list. Our new favorite Wailea dining stop”
