Reviews from Humble Market Kitchin by Roy Yamaguchi – Wailea, Maui, HI Happy Hour

“Went for happy hour tonight. The best crudo and vegetable roll we’ve ever had. Great atmosphere and service too!”

Michaela R., October 2025

“One of the best Happy Hours on the island. Servers are all really friendly and kind. Kids Menu is outstanding as well.”

Devin S., October 2025

“We had a rehearsal dinner here with 30 guests. The staff was fantastic, the food was so good and planned out well. Drinks came out timely. The views were amazing too!”

Tammy Barber, June 2024

“The servers were super kind with the exception of one but it does not change the rating because she was just one person. We had a fantastic dinner and fantastic breakfast here. Dinner was excellent, it did take a long to get to us but it was still so tasty. Breakfast was a buffet and there were so many delicious options. The atmosphere and views were beautiful. For dinner we started with Crispy Calamari, I had the Blackened Ahi and my husband had the pork tender braised beef short rib. My drink was the Pumpkin Pie Martini, which was so 10/10. Dessert was the Pineapple upside down cake made with Maui Gold pineapple.”

Yesenia Robledo, December 2024

“Great happy hour. We tried ALL of the $10 food items on the happy hour list. They were all great but loved the ribs and the salad best. Great three course kids menu ($17) that both of my children ate. Fun ambience and incredible pictures at sunset from the terrace in front of the restaurant.

Only downside is that they make all the happy hour guests (those not ordering from full dinner menu) sit in the front of the restaurant only. That said, our table was comfortable and you can’t beat the food or the price.”

Monica C., October 2023

“Unbeatable price at happy hour. Personal favorite was the Brussel sprouts, the pumpkin seeds were a nice touch.”

Rick. H., February 2023

“What a view and an excellent happy hour to match! Go for good drinks and exceptionally priced happy hour snacks. If you’re in Wailea this is probably the best bet for a low key happy hour while the sun sets on a weekday.”

Jake S., November 2022

“I think the happy hour specials are some of the best I’ve ever experienced, considering how yummy the food was! We came here a number of times during our stay at the resort.”

Jon M., August 2022

“We got there early and were offered to be seated early or at or scheduled time. We opted for a drink at the bar first. Bartenders were informative about drinks, wine list, and happy hour bar menu, and were very attentive. Our waiter, Zach, gave excellent suggestions about the dinner options. My wife declared the butterfish the best seafood she’s ever had. Sunset views were perfect.”

Bruce J., May 2022

“Love this place! We stayed at the Wailea Beach Resort for 5 nights – and ate dinner here 3 of them! It was hard to get into a lot of places because of the crowds and Covid restrictions, but here we either got a table or walked in for happy hour and ate. The service was friendly and they worked hard to make us happy. Everything we had was good. Short ribs, Kula salad, calamari, Brussels sprouts, desserts – we had the chocolate soufflé twice! With a great view and great food – highly recommended.”

Bill R., November 2021

“We did a walk-in ~5pm and enjoyed the happy hour menus. $10 cocktails and appetizers are definitely worth it! If you don’t do the happy hour you could sit outside and enjoy the amazing views of the sunset. The ribs are awesome!! For the entrees, definitely try the Steak and Lamb!”

Xuan Z., November 2021

“This was an amazing place! Food was an explosion of flavors that delighted our taste buds!! Extremely fresh seafood. Salads tasted like they were just picked. Wine list is somewhat limited, but a fine selection from the reds (which is all we tasted). Yes, definitely on the pricey side. But the quality and quantity of plates justifies a treat of a very nice dinner. Also–can’t beat the sunset views!”

Debbie V., September 2021

“My wife and I are staying at the Wailea Marriott. We tried the Happy Hour at HMK and were amazed. Great service and excellent food, at very reasonable prices. We tried the Brussel sprouts/cauliflower, wings and ribs. Each unique, but all were excellent.”

Gary W., April 2021
