Coco Deck Lahaina, located at 1312 Front Street in Lahaina, Maui, is the island’s newest oceanfront dining destination, officially opening in September 2024. This vibrant restaurant takes the place of Duckine, which was previously housed in the same location but closed due to the tragic Lahaina fires of August 2023. Now, under the culinary leadership of Chef Alvin Savella, also known as The Kitchen Assassin, Coco Deck offers a fresh blend of Mexican, Hawaiian, American, and seafood dishes, while continuing the legacy of Duckine’s excellent service and hospitality.
Chef Savella’s culinary expertise shines through in a variety of unique dishes, including the Fish Tacos, Birria Ramen, and the highly popular Assassin Smash Burger. Diners can also enjoy Happy Hour from 3 PM to 5 PM daily, featuring specials like Queso Tacos and Loaded Funky Fries, all accompanied by tropical cocktails such as the Front Street Mai Tai and Horchata Colada.
Coco Deck provides a family-friendly atmosphere, complete with a dedicated kid zone, making it an ideal spot for locals and visitors alike. The restaurant is also a lively hangout for sports fans, with multiple TVs ensuring guests can catch all the latest games. They have a good happy hour with 5 dollar margs 🙂 the highlight for us was the fish tacos. They were delicious. The staff is also friendly and attentive. When you’re in Maui you have to try Coco’s Deck. You won’t be disappointed!”

“So glad I saw their banner on my way from Safeway and decided to go for dinner. Food and drinks were DELICIOUS! We had the Coco crusted mahi, fish tacos, chicken wings and chicken tenders. Drinks were horchata colada and a mule. The mule was so tasty and refreshing. Atmosphere is laid back, service was great and menu prices are fair. Highly recommend!”
