“Delicious sushi! The restaurant doesn’t have a liquor license yet so I got a complimentary glass of wine and my husband got a sweet and sour! The service was great and there was great live music. We ordered the shrimp tempura roll and the sweet and spicy roll.”

“We stumbled upon this restaurant after golfing and it was so delicious and fresh we came back twice. We went to all the well known, fancy resort restaurants in Wailea and 1111 Nikkei’s food blew those other restaurants out of the water. Since they are new, their liquor license was delayed but they kindly let us bring our own liquor in. Our server, Dominic was very kind and attentive. We recommended 1111 Nikkei to some other friends vacationing on the island and they also ended up eating there twice because they liked it so much! Some highlights were the ahi ahi role (spicy tuna roll with ahi poke on top) and the sticky shrimp. Can’t recommend this place enough, I wish I could fly back to Maui and eat there again. They also had gluten free soy sauce which is great for one of us who can’t have gluten!”
