About Lima Cantina + Cocina
Lima Cocina + Cantina is a mix of classic Peruvian cuisine, infused with modern Maui, bringing a casual and exciting new dining experience to the island.
Located in Paia, Lima is Maui’s first restaurant and bar featuring traditional Peruvian cuisine.
Co-founder Gustavo Valcarcel has over two decades of Executive Chef experience in Peru. Gustavo brings the traditional flavors of Peru fusion with the latest international food trends.
Chef Valcarel is excited to bring his take on a ceviche bar as well as raise the traditional bar and grill game.
Co-founder Jessica Everett is also one of the founders of Esters Bar in Wailuku. Jessica brings years of experience in the hand-crafted cocktails bar game and has designed the cocktail menu with the delicious libations she is known for.

“I discovered Lima a couple of weeks ago and I had to come back! The food is absolutely delicious and the service is also really good! We met Javier and he was very friendly and gave us some recommendations.
We ordered a causa, a ceviche mixto, a lomo saltado and my favorite was the tiradito de ají amarillo. My friend from Peru is in town and she said she felt like she was back in the country.
