Maui locals enjoy Kahale’s for its clean, comfortable space, casual atmosphere, affordable drinks, and friendly service.
While food is not served at Kahale’s, guests are welcome to bring takeout food from the wonderful restaurants and food trucks nearby.
According to these Kahale’s Maui patrons:
“Stopped in for a quick beer! What a great choice…! This is my type of bar and the drinks were priced very reasonable. I wish this bar was closer to home for me…”Rich W., February 2022
“This place was pretty lit. I came here looking for a leather daddy and I found one. The drinks and service were fantastic.”Tayne S., February 2022
“Great bar and the owners are the best. Wonderful place and service and just an outstanding atmosphere! Added plus, the owner’s son is a Marine!”Boyd V., January 2022
“So, I traveled to Kihei by myself from 30 Aug to 3 Sept. After exploring the island during the day, I was thirsty and wanted to grab some drinks and meet some people.
Sure, Tiki is kind of cool because of the “Hawaii” look to it. What Ales You has some craft beer, okay whatever. There’s also that club type of place in case I wanted to relive my 20s (Not happening, I’m 36). But this place? I felt like I was at home at local dive bars in Tempe and Chandler, AZ. Beverages were cold and cheap (Don’t listen to that scrub who complained about prices.
$4 Bud Lights and $5.50 Fireballs are more than reasonable). The female bartender, whose name I forgot, was super cool and actually remembered me each time I came in, which was usually around 18:00.
And if you’re staying around Kam I-III, this place is located close by. In the end, I was stoked to find this hidden gem. I’m already planning another Oahu and Maui trip around May/June, and will literally go out of my way to come here again.”Jeff K., February 2022
“The real people of Kihei are there. Best Mai Tai on the island 😎”Gordon D., December 2021
Happy hour at Kahale’s Maui is from 10:30am to close daily featuring discounted beer, liquor, wine, and cocktails.
